Sherry Willingham

Ministry Assistant at New Life since 1986, Sherry serves our two pastors and the music/worship director.

With all that on-the-job training, she can handle anything that happens in the office but she also earned the following certifications:

 Basic Certification (1992) through Church Administration Department Baptist Sunday School Board, Nashville, Tennessee

Diploma in Church Office Administration (1994) Church Study Course provided by the Southern Baptist Convention

Received Advanced Certification (1997) Through Pastor-Staff Leadership Department Baptist Sunday School Board, Nashville, Tennessee

Completed several Advanced Skillshops, 1998 – present

Certified Trainer for the Florida Baptist Convention, 
Discipleship and Family Department

Member of Southern Baptist Secretaries Association of Florida

Former Treasurer of Southern Baptist Secretaries Association of Florida

Former member of National Association of Business Administrators

Sherry is married to Henry Willingham, retired Minister of Music and Senior Adults at First Baptist Church, Altoona, Florida.  He currently works as an elementary school music teacher at Triangle Elementary School in Mount Dora, Florida

Two daughters:

Angie Hicks, has a degree in elementary education and is a supervisor in the communications center of United Southern Bank.  Angie has one middle-school aged daughter, Alison.
 

Ralna Lengemann, lives in Eustis and has a degree in social work.  She is married to Mike, pilot for Bombardier Flex Jet and has two preschoolers - a son, Tobias, and daughter, Aspyn
