J. Daniel Baumann

Pastor Dan has worked at New Life as Assistant Pastor of Visitation/Volunteer Placement since June 1998.  He uses his years of ministry experience to organize and train our Stephen Ministers and Deacons to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our church members in need.  If you have ever been in the hospital, you have probably had a visit from Dan at sometime during your stay.  He has a heart for pastoral care which is obvious for all to see!

Dan has served as Pastor, Assistant and Interim Pastor in California, Minnesota and Florida as well as Professor at Bethel Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary and Talbot Theological Seminary.  He has hosted many speaking and preaching tours in Europe, the Holy Land and the Orient.

Dan is author of numerous books and articles including: Make Up Your Mind, All Originality Makes a Dull Church, Which Way to Happiness and Confronted by Love.

Dan is married to Linda who is always at his side.  His son, Steve, and wife Jenny have a son, JD .  Steve serves with Campus Crusade for Christ.  Dan’s daughter Lynette has graced us with numerous visits and lives in Las Vegas.
